this is half our teamâs most beloved drink we have ever made, and half our teamâs most disliked drink we have ever made!
itâs a special celebration for singaporeâs 60th birthday this year. to celebrate we are taking one of the most iconic local desserts, chendol and combining it with our favourite peak season black thorn durian to make a very special coffee.Â
king of chendol is built on a base of our ruby urbano cold brew, which gives it structure and coffee body. to that, we add a housemade mango & pandan infusion that we sous vide with lemon zest and fresh pandan leaves for two hours.
the chendol sphere is our favourite. our r&d team reverse-spherified a pandan base to create jelly-like pearls with a soft shell and liquid centre. they burst gently when you bite into them, releasing pandan flavour in waves.

and then: durian cream. not just any durian, we use d200 black thorn blended with milk, gula melaka, vanilla bean, and french cream until itâs completely smooth, this layer adds richness and a massive durian aroma.Â
we are really proud of this drink, as much as we are proud of our home in singapore.Â
it will be around for a couple of weeks from monday 28 july to sunday 10 august!
